Information Security
With the alarming increase in IT security incidents over the past few years, companies are focusing more and more on approaches and solutions that can protect not just their businesses, but their reputations.
Computer and network security is not like a light switch that is either on or off. Security is a gradient. A wide range of precautions, strategies and technologies may be employed to create more secure computing environments. Providing high levels of security makes a system more expensive to deploy and less convenient to work on, so when designing security for your infrastructure, we focus on what is at stake.
Any experienced IT professional can tell you that security has to be designed and built into an infrastructure from the ground up. At the very least, you need to understand the impact of a security failure. The level of security measures put in place should be appropriate to the potential damage and liability done due to a security failure.
Security is the cornerstone of a sound information strategy. Information security is not a product, it's a process that considers the entirety of a system's relevant components and connections. No systems operate in a vacuum, however, and often it is the analysis of usage and the human context within which a system performs that provides the true understanding of a system's needs and vulnerabilities.
The Information Security Lab is where SpecialAI perfects our prevention, protection and response skills so that our clients can rest easy. To the left are a couple of the tools and approaches we utilize.
